Villano Antillano, la revolución queer del género urbano, presenta “Veo, Veo”

Miami, Florida| 11 de marzo del 2022| La pionera del movimiento Queer del género urbano en Puerto Rico Villano Antillano, presenta su primer sencillo con Rapeton Approved “Veo, Veo”. El tema se estrena junto con su video musical oficial, el cual tiene una historia de trasfondo y ya está disponible en todas las plataformas digitales.
“Veo, Veo” es una canción irreverente, desafiante, rebelde y sin tapujos, tal y como lo es su intérprete Villano Antillano. La artista, quien se identifica como transfemme, es la verdadera dueña del “flow” y del chanteo. Sus canciones van más allá del Trap y del género urbano, son líricas reveladoras que cuentan la belleza y también el horror de crecer como una persona Queer en El Caribe.
El tema se estrena junto con su video musical oficial, el cual lleva una interesante trama que fusiona la idea del juego infantil Veo, Veo con la trama de la película “The Matrix”, producido por Guri Bellaflores y Dirigido por Juanky Álvarez,
En el video, se observa a Villana “convertida” en Neo y a la co-protagonista de la historia, quien es nada más y nada menos que Teresa Karolina, activista de Puerto Rico en pro de los derechos de las personas transgénero y no binarias, personificando a Morfeo. En la trama del video y como en la vida misma, Teresa se convierte en el despertar de Villana, para que pueda asumir el rol que le corresponde en la sociedad
“Es un tema que tiene poder y magnetismo, que me hace sentir orgullosa y feliz de ser quien soy. Estoy ansiosa porque lo escuchen y disfruten conmigo”, afirma Villano.

Miami, Florida| March 11th, 2022| The urban music sensation, who is also a pioneer in Puerto Rico’s Queer movement Villano Antillano, presents her first single with Rapeton Approved “Veo, Veo”. The song premieres along with its official music video, which has a backstory and is now available on all digital platforms.
“Veo, Veo” is an irreverent, defiant and rebellious song, just like her interpreter Villano Antillano. The artist, who identifies herself as a trans femme, is a real underground urban singer and rapper. Her songs go far beyond the urban melodies, they truly reveal the ups and downs of growing up as a Queer person in the Caribbean.
The song premieres along with its official music video, which has an interesting plot that fuses the idea of the children’s game “I spy with my little eye” (Veo, Veo in Spanish) with the plot of the movie “The Matrix”, produced by Guri Bellaflores and Directed by Juanky Álvarez.
In the music video, Villana is seen transformed into Neo and the co-protagonist of the story, the Puerto Rican activist for the rights of transgender and non-binary people Teresa Karolina, impersonates Morpheus. In the plot of the video as in real life, Teresa becomes Villano’s life awakening, so that she can face and assume her destiny.
“It is a song that has power and magnetism, that makes me feel proud and happy to be who I am. I am anxious for everyone to listen to it and enjoy it with me”, says Villano.
