Los Ángeles, CA (8 de febrero de 2024) – “Alguna vez se han preguntado por qué la felicidad en tan efímera, por qué la tristeza es insistente y vuelve si se va. Se han preguntado si es necesario que exista la maldad, se han preguntado por qué el humano no sabe amar,” se cuestiona J Noa en su nuevo sencillo “Era de Cristal.” El tema, el cual fue producido por Trooko (Residente, Bad Bunny) y salió hoy a través de Sony Music CAC, se enfoca en los problemas comunes de la juventud con respecto a la salud mental, la felicidad y la ansiedad de vivir en un mundo donde el sufrimiento parece ser inevitable.

El video fue dirigido por su colaborador Lennyn Salinas y fue grabado en Santo Domingo, RD. Las oscuras visuales traen las letras de “Era de Cristal” a la vida mientras vemos a la rapera dominicana atrapada en un cuarto oscuro sufriendo de ansiedad e insomnio. “Sentada en el piso 7, mirando como cae la noche al cielo y una lágrima que adorna mi cara y rueda en mi cuello, refugiada en mi pasado con un presente tan bello y cerrando cada ciclo cortándome mi cabello,” rapea la artista dominicana.

Esta semana, la artista dominicana fue nominada por primera vez a los Premios Soberanos bajo la categoría Revelación del Año (Renglón Popular) el cual se llevará a cabo el 12 de marzo a las 7 PM hora local en Santo Domingo, RD. Hace dos semanas, recibió su primera nominación a Premio Lo Nuestro bajo la categoría Artista Revelación Femenina. La edición 36ª de la premiación de Univisión, se llevará a cabo el jueves 22 de febrero a las 7 P.M. hora del este y 6 P.M. hora del centro desde el Kaseya Center en Miami, FL.

El 9 de marzo, J Noa se estará presentando en su primer festival de música, Isle of Light, junto a Trueno y Villano Antillano en Santo Domingo, seguido por 4 presentaciones en el festival y la conferencia prestigiosa de música SXSW 2024 en Austin, TX.

Los Angeles, CA (February 8, 2024) – “Have you ever wondered why happiness is so ephemeral, why sadness is so persistent and returns even if it goes away? Have you wondered if evil is necessary, have you wondered why humans don’t know how to love,” questions J Noa in her new single “Era de Cristal.”  The song which was produced by Trooko (Residente, Bad Bunny) and released today through Sony Music CAC, focuses on the common problems adolescents face regarding mental health, happiness, and the anxiety of living in a world where suffering seems inevitable.

The video was directed by her collaborator Lennyn Salinas and filmed in Santo Domingo, DR. The gritty visuals bring the lyrics of “Era de Cristal” to life, as we see the Dominican rapper trapped in a dark room suffering from anxiety and insomnia. “Sitting on the 7th floor, watching the night fall into the sky, a tear adorns my face and rolls down my neck, stuck on the past while living in the beautiful present and closing every life cycle by cutting my hair,” recites the Dominican artist.

This week, the Dominican artist was nominated for the first time for Premios Soberano in the Breakthrough Artist category, the awards will take place on March 12th at 7 PM local time in Santo Domingo, RD. Two weeks ago, she received her first nomination for the Premio Lo Nuestro in the Breakthrough Female Artist category. The 36th edition of the Univisión award ceremony will take place on Thursday, February 22nd at 7 PM EST and 6 PM CST at the Kaseya Center in Miami, FL.

On March 9th, J Noa will be performing at her first music festival, Isle of Light, alongside Trueno and Villano Antillano in Santo Domingo, followed by four showcases at the prestigious music festival and conference SXSW 2024 in Austin, TX.
